I wrote the lyrics to this after seeing a report on a school in New Mexico in 2013. For all the junior high classes, they'd cancelled PE and replaced it with weapons training. Teaching kids that getting shot is not only a possibility but an inevitability just seemed wrong to me. Preparedness is one thing, but instilling a siege mentality in a 13 year old will fuck them up for life. So I wrote this song.
